WELCOME TO

BASINGSTOKE  MODEL  AERO  CLUB

Who are we?

We are a relatively large (100+ members at present), friendly club based just to the west of Basingstoke and near the village of Deane, Hampshire. We fly fixed wing aircraft, helicopters, gliders and multirotors (drones), including some in First Person View (FPV).

Founded in 1959, Basingstoke Model Aero Club (BMAC) is affiliated to the British Model Flying Association (BMFA) and moved to its current site in 1995, and since then, has enjoyed the ability to fly all-year-around from a quiet, but stunning, north facing 3 acre flying field.

The club is run by members, for its members, and its aim is to promote model flying in a friendly, helpful and safe environment.

Where & when do we fly?

Our flying field is just north of the village of Deane, off the B3400.

The field is available for flying every day of the week, although you will find more flyers at the site on Sundays.

The field is available from 09:00 until sunset, weekdays and Saturdays, and from 10:00 on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
