British Summer Time
No, we’re not talking about long rainy days and soggy BBQs this time…
This weekend (28/29th March) the clocks spring forward to BST. Now, more than likely, this won’t affect people too much as it’s an hour less in bed and therefore the chances of getting up to the field before flying is allowed to commence is reduced. It does however mean we’ll get some longer evenings to fly in as we progress through to June.
This is just a reminder to all to check your timings etc to ensure that you don’t start flying before the permitted times, and you have finished flying at the appropriate cut-off (different times for i/c and quiet electric) and are clear of the site no later that 30 mins after sunset.
Confirmation of flying times are available on the front page of the website and in more detail in the club rules.
