BBQ Nights Catapult Glider Competition

To add a little entertainment and light-hearted competition to the up and coming BBQ Club Nights, we thought it would be a good idea to have a bit of fun with a Catapult Glider Competition.

To ensure a relatively level playing field, this will be ‘one make series’ and the weapon of choice for the competition is the Captain Thermal Catapult Glider designed by Stuart Marsden.

The model has been designed with the goal of encouraging young and old into “Aeromodelling”. As well as learning a great deal when building and flying this model, you will also have a great amount of fun.

The glider is very easy to make with the Laser cut parts and card packaging, making a simple building jig, with a choice of two wing designs. Buy two kits and have two gliders with different wings.
